Hey you. Happy Valentine's Day! I sure do miss you a lot today. I wish I was holding you on my lap and kissing your sweet little face today instead of sitting here writing a note to you in heaven. I realized on Friday that this was just another one of the "nevers" for me. I will never be able to write Valentine cards for you to take to school and share with your friends. That was a hard realization for me again. I don't know that it will ever get easier, Carter.
Your Bumpa and Nana are here this weekend and when Nana got your sister out of the bath tonight she looked in the mirror and told Nana "I like Carter." Nana asked her where you are and she said bye-bye. She's so smart, Carter. And she loves you even though she doesn't physically know you. Then when Nana got her jammies on her, she looked at the wall hanging in her room and told Nana that the baby that Jesus is holding in it was you. It melts my heart. She's so sweet.
You've had a busy couple of days no doubt. Did you have fun with Ethan yesterday for his second heavenly birthday? I bet you did! I hope you boys behaved yourselves...well at least a little bit!
